Bhubaneswar, 5 October (IANS) Commission police arrested two infamous inter-state fraudsters, who were raided by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in a hotel in Bhubaneswar, Police Commissioner S Dev Dutta Singh said here on Sunday.
The accused persons were identified as Chaudhary Rinku Saini, 36, 36 in Sonipat district of Haryana, 36 -year -old in Karanal district.
Accused Saini recognized himself as the chairman of the commission under MHA, referring to himself as his personal assistant (PA).
With the instructions to provide pilot protection and other security arrangements to the accused, we received a communication from the Union Government’s MHA, mentioning them for the National Chairman of Social Justice and Women Empowerment Commission, after reading the communication, we suspect that there is no commission for MHA. He also said that during a conversation with his counterparts in Haryana, the police also found the involvement of fraudsters in some cheating cases in Haryana.
Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Jagmohan Meena said that a case in this regard has been registered in this regard at Maitri Vihar police station.
He also revealed that the accused used to send details of his visit to the official email of the government to get escort, pilot services according to the protocol.
After verification with the Government of India, the police found that there is no such national level commission called MHA or Central Social Justice and Empowerment “National Commission for National Social Justice and Women Empowerment”.
It was found that the accused Chaudhary Rinku Saini does not hold any statutory positions in any commission of the central government.
The Commission police said in a press note, “Prima Feshi, ID card and letters made by them were found forged, and the discrepancies were noted in the designation.
Both were arrested on Sunday, while policemen seized fake letters and other documents used by them.
The police suspect that they may have cheated various persons by claiming to be the Chairman and PA from the National Level Commission under MHA.
Bhubaneswar DCP also urged the citizens through the media on Sunday that any accused who was cheated by the fraudsters to contact their nearest police station.
