Continuing its strong action against the threat of drug trafficking, the police arrested two drug pedals in Anantnag and recovered the controversial substance from them.
A police spokesperson said, “During the regular testing of naka in Bumzu, a motorcycle bearing was intercepting for the registration number DL 7SBG-6867, Mass Hamdan towards the mass. Shabir Ahmed Bhat was a resident of Pranbavan Matan and resident of Mushtak Ahmed Wani, a resident of Mushtak Ahmed Wani.
Accordingly, a case of FIR number 50/2025 under the relevant sections of the law at police station Mattan has been registered and has been investigated.
