Two drug pedals arrested in Budgam

In continuing their constant efforts to eradicate the danger of drugs from the society, the police have arrested two drug pedals in Budgam and recovered the controversial substances from their possession.

Acting on specific information, a police team of police station Birwah established Arvah near Stone Crusher at a checkpoint, intercepted two suspects who tried to escape, but were cleverly caught. During the search, about 9 grams of heroin substances with two mobile phones were recovered from their possession. Both persons were arrested on the spot and have been identified as Mohammad Ismail Parra of Ghulam Ahmed Parra, son of Czech-e-Kavosa and Shahid Ahmed Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, resident of Sonpah.

Accordingly, a case video FIR number 71/2025 has been registered at Police Station Birwah under the relevant sections of the law and further investigation is currently underway.

The police is stable in their commitment to protect the community from drug crisis and urge the public to expand their cooperation by reporting any suspicious activities related to drug trafficking or misconduct. ,
