TVK leader accused the role of former minister in TN Stamped, Madras HC Registry denies the petition for CBI inquiry

Chennai, 29 September (IANS) accused a deliberate conspiracy behind a stampede in Karur district of Tamil Nadu, in which 41 people lost their lives during the Tamilaga Vatri Kazgam (TVK) rally of actor-consistent Vijay, who was the General Secretary of the election campaign management party, Aadhav Arjuna, Aadhav Arjuna, Madhav Arjuna. Madhav Arjuna is checked.

In his petition, Arjun directly, former minister V. Senthil Balaji, along with the ruling DMK and the members of the state police, accused of engineering. He claimed that TVK rallies were systematically vandalized through administrative obstacles and deliberate disruptions.

According to the petition, permission to conduct meetings was often rejected at preferred places and instead was given in “limited places” which was unable to catch the large crowd. Arjun said that the pattern was seen in Namakkal, Trichy and Nagapattinam, where the power was cut into mid-occurre, the presence of the police was inadequate, and attempts were made to create terror.

He alleged that the Karur tragedy followed the same pattern. Arjun said, “Vijay cut power just before starting his speech, pushed people to the backup generator and extended confusion,” “anti -social elements” infiltrated the crowd and thrown slippers and stones in Vijay and attendees.

Arjun also reported that he described as “suspected preparations” by state officials with hospitals prepared before the arrival of the victims, post-mortem at midnight, and the ministers arrive unusually rapidly in the hospital. He argued that “a determination by the ruling DMK to vandalize the rally at any cost.”

The petition said that the same government machinery selected the venue, it should not be allowed to investigate the tragedy due to clear conflict of interests. Arjun asked the court to hand over the CBI to the investigation to ensure a fair investigation and sought protection against any obstacle for him or any obstacle for TVK chief victory to meet Karur to meet the bereaved families.

However, sources said that the Madras High Court Registry refused to accept the petition on procedural basis, stopping its move for now. TV leaders indicated that they would seek legal advice to re -fill the petition.

The CBI’s investigation and the demand for direct charges against St.hil Balaji have intensified the political fight around the tragedy, even under the leadership of Aruna Jagadisin, a retired High Court judge of the state government, the judicial commission.
