This is the moment a purse snatching attempt goes horribly wrong for two would-be thieves.
According to footage shared on messaging app Telegram, the pair attempted to snatch a bag from a woman in the Argentinian city of Mar del Plata on December 12.
After trying and failing to steal the bag, the hapless pair managed to crash their bike into a tree and then into the middle of an intersection, where they were attacked by angry locals, who beat them with brooms and even parts of their bike.
