It may feel like a crack in the time-space continuum. On one side of the tear, there is a universe in which America run by a want to be king who uses Attacking an ally as an opportunity For profit, one who lies, cheats and backstabs his friends. On the other hand, are America’s closest allies insisting that Washington is a force for good.
there is only a realityAnd now it’s time to face it.
America is no longer the leader of the West, let alone the rest of the world. It has the largest armed forces. It has by far the world’s largest economy and widest cultural reach. But its democracy is collapsing and has been taken over by a sect of ignorant bribe-takers.
They’re in bed with techno-bro fantasists who believe they can control the media and bend minds, while genetically engineering their way to a master class that rules the world as high-tech experts.
EuropeThe country’s leaders are gathering in Johannesburg for the G20. They are busy in the meeting deciding how to respond donald trumpis the latest pro-russian plan For ukraine To surrender, and to profit American business (Trump Organization?).
The question they need to ask themselves is, is it time to stop bothering the child with flattery and flattery in exchange for stopping them from showing irritability?
According to a senior Western source deeply involved in the real-world security of Europe and Britain, the answer is to “just tell him to fuck off”.
Undoubtedly very attractive.
And the source is correct in explaining that now is the time for Europe, Canada, Britain, and many other allies to establish military and intelligence independence. We,
Why? Because America is so busy destroying its own democracy that within a year it will be even closer Russia Of Vladimir Putin Than anything that would be recognized as a Western democracy.
Trump is undermining every branch of America’s complex constitutional structures. The judiciary itself, the lawyers serving it, the security and military forces, its republican partyThe Federal Reserve Bank and the media are all being folded into an authoritarian agenda that will endure among their successors, political or personal.
Trump’s 28-point plan for “peace” There was a dispute in Ukraine between the Middle East and his envoy to Moscow, Steve Witkoff. Witkoff is brainless. He uses his personal cell phone on trips to Moscow and Tel Aviv where its contents are undoubtedly transcribed in real time.
His pro-Russian plan for Ukraine was agreed with Kirill Alexandrovich Dmitriev, a Russian businessman and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, which has at least $10 billion of Russian government money to “co-invest” in the Russian economy. Dmitriev has been cleared by the US Treasury – it is illegal for any American to do business with him but Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner was there too.
The American side was also behind this group Gaza Armistice agreement. There is no ceasefire in Gaza, but an agreement with Israel, but no Palestinian participation, would (if it worked) effectively outsource Israeli occupation, or control of Gaza, to foreign forces, leaving no long-term prospects of peace for either Israel or the Palestinians.
No one is telling Trump this. To understand why not, here is an excerpt from what Witkoff said during a sycophantic show session of the US Cabinet in August this year:
“Your team is nothing short of incredible and the only thing I wish for is that the Nobel Committee finally works together and realizes that you are the best candidate to receive that prize since there has ever been discussion about Nobel Peace – this Nobel Prize.
“Your success is changing the game in the world today and I hope everyone wakes up one day and realizes it. Thank you, sir.”
He believes Witkoff knows how to handle Trump.
By saying that the 47th president is a better candidate than Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Elie Wiesel and Mother Theresa, he hopes to ensure his role at the center of things, no matter how little he understands them. He also knows that Trump wants to see profit along with flattery.
Ukraine’s offer is to give Putin pre-prepared defensive lines that Ukraine has built in its fortress belt in Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson provinces without firing a shot.
In exchange Ukraine would give up its long-range weapons, halve its armed forces, give up joining NATO forever, and sign over to Belarus-style vassal status under the Kremlin.
And the new part of this old Russian demand is that American companies get 50 percent of the profits from a $100 billion reconstruction fund for Ukraine using frozen Kremlin assets.
This is on top of the groundbreaking minerals deal Zelensky signed with the Trump administration, which promises U.S. control of 50 percent of profits from Ukraine’s as-yet-untapped mineral resources.
Both are very good deals for Russia. And to Trump’s industry friends. Moscow destroyed it, the US rebuilt it, and Ukraine paid protection money to Washington – forever.
Trump has set next Thursday for the signing on Ukraine. It is unclear what the “or-and” might be since the US no longer supplies weapons to Ukraine.
Intelligence assistance comes from Washington – but the EU, Britain and others are working hard to prepare Ukraine for cutting off this flow of vital data, because the US cannot be trusted as an ally.
Former Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas came up with a better way to deal with Trump’s plan to profit from Ukraine’s surrender — without even mentioning the US president.
“Our position has not changed. For any peace plan to be successful, it has to be supported by Ukraine, and it has to be supported by Europe. If Russia really wanted peace, they would have accepted the unconditional ceasefire offer back in March.
“Russia’s mixed actions in Europe are increasingly brazen. Russia is committing state-sponsored terrorism,” he said, adding that the EU, which has no power, had “a number of ways we can respond”.
One of these should be to not ask Trump to defer. As every parent knows when a child becomes irritable, the best way to bring him back to reality is to ignore him.
