President Donald Trump has never been shy about leveling any kind of mild criticism against himself, whether real or perceived, but after the Norwegian committee responsible for awarding the award Nobel Peace Prize scorned in his favor Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado It seems he is keeping his tongue in check on this matter.
The flood of social media posts coming from the President’s Truth social account Friday morning touched on a variety of topics, including reposting the praise he received For his role in helping broker the agreement that led to a Friday morning ceasefire in Israel’s two-year-old war against Hamas in Gaza.
One post included a clip from a show on the conservative Newsmax television network that credited the host trump helping to bring peace to the Middle East region, even though the deal had yet to be approved by Israel’s cabinet at the time.
That’s another point in the indictment of New York Attorney General Letitia James by a Virginia grand jury on Thursday, the second set of charges in as many weeks against one of the president’s Democratic opponents.
The third post Friday morning included video of the former US ambassador to Israel David Friedman — one New York lawyer who served in the role during Trump’s first term — praised the president’s negotiating skills, while two others contained no text but instead reposted clips of Attorney General Pam Bondi’s combative testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this week.
While a Trump message posted late Thursday night included a Fox News article that quoted mothers of children killed by illegal immigrants — so-called “angel moms” — calling for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, not a single post from the president addressed the fact that Machado, not him, was awarded the honor.

Trump has long lobbied for the award and had hoped to play a role in it Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement The blow dealt earlier this week may finally be his.
Excited members of the President asked for coalition, led by his son Eric TrumpWas Called for rewarding them for their efforts In an attempt to bring peace to Gaza, more than one person claimed that the deal was so important that the entire prize should be renamed after founder Alfred Nobel instead of him.
But on Wednesday, when a reporter at the White House asked him about his prospects, Trump did not dare to get his hopes up and gave a vague answer.
“I have no idea,” he answered her. “I mean, look, I compromised – Marco [Rubio] Will tell you – we settled seven wars. We’re close to solving the eighth, and I think we’ll solve the Russia situation, which is awesome… I think we’ll solve it, so… I don’t think anyone in history has solved that many, but maybe they’ll find some reason not to give it to me.
If Trump were victorious, he would have been the fifth US President to receive the award after Theodore Roosevelt (1906), Woodrow Wilson (1919), Jimmy Carter (2002) and most importantly the current Commander-in-Chief. Barack Obama (2009).

While Trump remained silent, the rest of the MAGA-world was not so quiet.
White House communications director Stephen Cheung criticized the decision in a social media post: “President Trump will continue to make peace deals, end wars, and save lives. He has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains by sheer force of will. The Nobel Committee has proven that they put politics above peace.”
Georgia Representative Buddy Carter went on TV to campaign for Trump to win the award and after the decision he had a new plan.
“Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize,” Carter told Fox Business. “That’s why I’m introducing a resolution today that would award him the Nobel Peace Prize.”
