Trump’s gold card is soon to be out, Alone Musk’s Dogge is building software for this

Washington:

As at the end of Elon Musk’s tenure in the Task Force of Elon Musk, US President Donald Trump assigned his billionaire colleague and his Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) with a new work-construction of a system to sell “gold cards” to Amir migrants. According to a report by the New York Times, working to create a website and application process for “Special immigration visas” associated with Musk’s team.

The report said that the DOGE team is collaborating to create a visa portal with employees of the State Department, Homeland Security Department and the United States of Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Trump’s gold card

The US President announced the new “citizenship” of the United States for “very high-level people” in late February and called it “Gold Card”. However, at that time, the US President or his team provided some details about who would qualify for the program.

The Trump administration stated that the “Gold Card” would replace the existing EB -5 visa program, which provides a permanent residence to foreign nationals ready to invest $ 800,000 or $ 1.05 million in American businesses, making at least 10 jobs for American workers. The program raised around $ 4 billion for the federal government last year.

Trump also showed the media earlier this month to a laminate card with his face, The Statue of Liberty and a bald eagle, stating that the gold card would “be less than two weeks”.

About Gold Card Project

From the NOGE side, the Gold Card Project is headed by Marco Alez and Edward Coristine, which, according to the NYT report, have been working on it since at least last month.

Both have allegedly met with officials of various agencies who oversee the aspects of the visa and immigrant veterinarian process to understand which existing processes can be included in their new system.

The report states that Dogi engineers are still assessing how to create a gold card system that will bypass normal visa application processes, which are separate but may take over years.

The team is focusing on ways to accelerate the specific immigrant veating process, including interviews and background checks, and to receive residency approval for high-net-trial applicants within two weeks of application.

Howard Lootnic on Gold Card

Last month, Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutynik said on a podcast that he had sold 1,000 visas, however, no evidence of financial transactions at that time was shown.

“So if you have a gold card – which used to be a green card – you are a permanent resident of America,” Lutnik said. However, he did not clarify whether the holders would become American citizens.

He said, “They pay $ 5 million, and they have the right to be an American and as long as they are good people, they have the right to live in the US and they are waiting and they cannot break the law,” he said.

Lutnik also reported that Musk was building software, and the program would be unveiled in two weeks.

On Thursday, Lutynik updated the timeline, saying that the gold card would be prepared “within a week.”
