US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he has started “direct talks” with Iran at almost the highest level on his nuclear program.
“We have a very big meeting on Saturday, and we are working directly with him,” he told reporters at the Oval office during a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Maybe a deal is being done, it will be great. We are getting very important on Saturday, almost at the highest level,” he said.
