US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would like to stop the war in Gaza, as he hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
Trump said work was going on to free the hostages organized by Hamas, but said that it was “a long process” to secure the release of all the hostages. “
Israel -headed fighters launched the war after Israeli attacked Southern Israel on 7 October 2023, according to the long Israeli, some 1,200 people died and 251 hostage. Since then, according to local health officials, Israel has so far killed over 50,000 Palestinians.
Asked if he would arrive at his promise for the President to end the war in Gaza, Trump said: “I want to stop the war, and I think the war will be closed at some point, it will not happen in the future.”
