A newly released batch of Jeffrey Epstein’s private emails shared with Congress by the sex offender’s estate claims that Donald Trump “knew about girls.”
previously unknown email, The documents, released in recent weeks by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, date from 2011 to 2019. Republicans on the committee then released thousands of other messages, including emails from Epstein and others in his circle, including his lawyers, journalists, author Michael Wolff, former Treasury secretaries Larry Summers and Deepak Chopra, and many others.
Trump has been mentioned repeatedly in messages from Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019. There is also correspondence with his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking in 2021.
In emailMost of which are filled with misspellings and awkward punctuation, Epstein wrote that Trump “knew about the girls” and “spent hours at my house” with a sex trafficking victim.
“I know how dirty Donald is,” Epstein wrote in another message released in a batch of 20,000 documents from House Republicans.
Trump did not send or receive any emails, and the president has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Tranche of documents was released earlier Arizona Democratic Representative Adelita Grijalva After a delay of several weeks, House Speaker Mike Johnson administered the oath of office to him. Grijalva provided the 218th — and final — signature on a discharge petition that would force a vote on releasing the so-called Epstein files held by the Justice Department.
April 2, 2011: Epstein tells Maxwell that Trump ‘spent hours’ at her home
In a message released by House Democrats, Epstein told Maxwell, “I want you to realize that the dog that hasn’t barked is Trump…[VICTIM] Spent hours with him at my house, he was never mentioned. police chief. etc, I’m 75% there”
Maxwell replied, “I’m thinking about it….”
January 31, 2019: Epstein tells Wolff that Trump ‘knew about the girls’
Another message released by House Democrats shows Epstein telling Wolf that “[VICTIM] Maralago [REDACTED] Trump said that he asked me to resign, never any member, , Of course he knew about the girls because he told Ghislain to stay”
December 16, 2015: Epstein asks Wolff to ‘prepare answers’ about relationship with Trump
According to a third message released by House Democrats, Wolf wrote to Epstein, “I heard that CNN plans to ask Trump tonight about his relationship with you – either on air or afterward.”
“If we had to formulate an answer to that, what do you think it should be?” Epstein replied.
Wolfe responded: “I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he didn’t get on the plane or at the house, it gives you valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive profit for you, or, if it looks like he might win, you can save him, creating debt. Of course, it’s possible that, when asked, he’ll say that Jeffrey is a Great guy and he got a raw deal and he’s a victim of political correctness, which is outlawed under the Trump administration.
March 6, 2011: Epstein emails ‘The Duke’
In an email to “The Duke” with a redacted address, Epstein writes: “Are you okay? These stories are completely fictional.”
The message now appears to be addressed to former Prince Andrew, whose relationship with the sex offender was coming under intense scrutiny in Britain at the time of Epstein’s message.
He said, “I don’t know and have never met Al Gore, the Clintons were never on the island… The telephone book is not mine, it was stolen by my housekeeper who is in jail right now.”
December 8, 2015: Epstein presents photos of Trump with ‘girls in bikinis’
Then among the many messages with-new York Times Reporter Landon Thomas Jr., who profiled Epstein new york Magazine in 2015, Epstein offered the journalist “pictures of Donald in my kitchen and girls in bikinis.”
“Yes!!!” Thomas wrote back.
“Hawaiian tropic girl Lauren Petrella,” Epstein replied.
In another email of their exchange, Epstein said that reporters should “ask my housekeeper about Donald.” [sic] While the girls were swimming in the pool he almost walked into the door, leaving a mark of his nose on the glass and he was so focused that he walked straight into the door.
July 29, 2016: Epstein claims he lost a $10,000 bet with Trump on Marla Maples’ pregnancy
During a 2016 conversation with author Deepak Chopra, which took place a few months before Trump’s first election victory, Epstein claimed he had a $10,000 bet with Trump On whether his ex-wife Marla Maples, who gave birth to Tiffany Trump in 1993.
Chopra emailed Epstein demanding to arrange a FaceTime or Skype call when he asked if he knew Maples.
“Yes,” Epstein replied three minutes later.
He added, “Actually when she told Donald she was pregnant…she lost a $10,000 bet with him and sent him a truckload of baby food as payment.”
January 28-29, 2017: Epstein calls Trump ‘crazy’
In a separate series of messages with Thomas Jr., Epstein said, “Donald is going crazy.”
Epstein also suggested in another correspondence with Thomas Jr. that Trump may have “early dementia.”
March 24, 2018: Trump is ‘bad beyond belief’
In another series of messages with Thomas Jr., Epstein believed that Trump “feels alone. And crazy!!!”
He wrote, “I told everyone from day one. Evil beyond belief. Crazy, and most people thought I was speaking metaphorically.” “It’s obvious he can crack. Stormy Daniels.? Lies upon lies upon lies.”
June 24, 2018: Epstein offered Putin ‘insight’ about Trump
Epstein offered to meet with Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s top diplomat, to give him insight into how Trump thinks, the emails show.
In an exchange with Norwegian politician Thorbjorn Jagland, Epstein asked him to deliver his message to Vladimir Putin before the two presidents met in Helsinki.
“I think you might suggest to Putin that Lavrov might get information from talking to me,” Epstein wrote, referring to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Epstein said he believed another Russian diplomat, Vitaly Churkin, “understood Trump” after the conversation.
“It’s not complicated. He must be seen to get something,” Epstein wrote. “It’s that simple.”
August 23, 2018: ‘I know how dirty Donald is’
Among the many messages were with former Obama-era White House counsel Katherine Ruemmler, who shared a new York Times op-ed about Trump’s impeachment, Epstein told the president about the so-called secret money scheme at the center of Michael Cohen’s case and, later, Trump’s own criminal prosecution.
Epstein: “I think he makes the argument that it was his, values the money, so that doesn’t make it illegal. Although he also said he only found out later? And according to the indictment the fact was it was billed as services rendered and earned. I’m sure his function is flipped anyway. I spoke at length to the Star yesterday about the indictments and how Trump could make a deal (special counsel). Clinton Trash Can yes star give me more. Yes!”
“It doesn’t matter that it was his money,” Ruemmler replied. “The issue is the failure to disclose. Furthermore, the fact that he lied about this makes it clear that he knew it was illegal.”
In response, Epstein wrote: “You see, I know how dirty Donald is. My guess is that non-lawyers and business people have no idea what your fixer flip means.”
December 20, 2018: Trump is ‘borderline crazy’
In several messages sent to Reed Weingarten, Epstein’s lawyer, Epstein said that comparing Trump to a “mafia don… ignores the fact that he has very dangerous power.”
He called him “borderline crazy”, which Epstein called “confirmed”. [sic] By some people who are close.”
