Trump claims that Canada considers offering to become a 51st state without any cost

US President Donald Trump claimed that he had offered Canada an alternative to the United States’s 51st state or an independent nation remaining, where he suggested that Canada might be included in the US “Golden Dome System” at any cost, while the rest would come for the remaining USD 61 billion USD.

Trump further claimed that Canada is currently considering the proposal.

Sharing a post on social media platform Truth social, Trump wrote, “I told Canada, who wants to be a part of our magnificent golden dome system, that if they remain a separate, but uneven, nation, then it will cost $ 61 billion, but if they become our intercourse, they will become 51st states, they will spend zero dollars. They are considering this proposal!”

According to Al Jazeera, Trump announced on 20 May that he has chosen a 175 billion USD design for the multi -lered Golden Dome Missile Defense Program, which aims to compete with air threats, even though he was launched from space. ,

On May 20, Defense Secretary and Senior Advisor for Public Affairs, Sean Parnell said, “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth joined the Oval Office at the Oval Office to announce the Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield. According to the US Department of Defense, Golden Dome will be similar to Israeli’s Iron Dome Defense System, designed to protect against inbound missile attacks.

The President announced that an architecture has been selected for the system, which would use the next generation technologies at land, sea and location, including space-based sensors and interceptors. Trump said Golden Dome should be completed in three to four years. Trump further stated that the Golden Dome should be completed in three to four years.

Vikas follows a meeting between Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on 6 May, where Trump praised Carney’s political success.
