The Trump campaign on Tuesday stepped up its attacks on Indian-American Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, accusing her of being a warmonger.
“The truth is, Haley knows she doesn’t have a compelling argument or even a coherent reason for why she should be president. But what voters do know is that she is a warmonger who would rather plunge America into endless war,” said Steven Chang, a Trump spokesman.
“Her bloodlust is rivaled only by her reliance on Democratic interference in the Republican primary,” Chang said in a strongly worded statement on Tuesday.
Former US President Donald Trump won the first two Republican primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire and leads South Carolina, scheduled for February 23, by more than 30 percentage points.
