“The Commission has now appointed interim managers in the Espinol Foundation, who will work with existing trustees on specific areas according to the governing documents of the charity.”
The Charity Commission only applies interim managers to a charity “if it is satisfied that misconduct and/or mismanagement” and is considered “required to protect the property of donations”.
Mortance “involves any task that the person doing it knew – or should be known – was criminal, illegal or inappropriate”.

The mismanagement is “defined as any Act, resulting in misuse of charitable resources – or those who benefit from benefiting from charity”.
