Tropical Storm Fernand Rup in Atlantic Ocean

Miami (AP) – The tropical storm Fernand formed in the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, but it was away from the ground and was forecast to live above the open ocean.

The National Hurricane Center at Miami said that the storm was located about 405 miles (655 km) in the south-south-east of Bermuda.

It had a maximum continuous winds of 40 mph (65 kilometers per hour) and was moved north at 15 mph (24 km per hour).

The Hurricane Center said the fernand was expected to be passed by “Bermuda east”, and no coastal watches or warning effects.
