Triumph Scrambler 1200X launched in India, price starts at Rs 11.83 lakh

Premium motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched the fully equipped Scrambler 1200X in India. The bike is priced starting at Rs 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more affordable than the Scrambler 1200 XC.

Scrambler 1200X is more expensive than 1200 XE. This bike is positioned one level below the above two models.

All about Triumph Scrambler 1200X

The Scrambler 1200X features a single seat arrangement with a seat height of up to 820 mm. It can be lowered further to 795 mm, making it the perfect roadster for shorter customers.

The company equips motorcycles with basic suspension and braking systems. The rear Marzocchi monoshock features preload adjustability, while the front features a gold USD fork setup. Traction control, cornering dual-channel ABS and multiple riding modes are just extra features.

Apart from this, the bike also comes with a 21-17-inch spoked wheel combination, making it ideal for riding on any terrain. The company claims that the curb weight of the bike is 228 kg, while the fuel tank capacity is 15 liters. Respectable enough?

Engine and power

The specialty of the Scrambler 1200 series is the engine, as it is still powered by a 1,200cc parallel twin liquid-cooled unit. This forces the vehicle to produce a maximum power of 88.7bhp and a peak torque of 110Nm. As for other more notable features, the 1200X comes with a digital console that combines LCD and TFT.
