Agartala, Oct 16 (IANS) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha along with his wife Swapna Saha on Thursday visited the Ram temple and Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya and prayed for the welfare of the people of the state. The officers provided this information.
An official of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that CM Saha was waiting to meet Lord Ram Lala for a long time. In a Facebook post, Saha said, “Feel extremely blessed to have the divine darshan of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the holy land of religion and devotion…prayed to Lord Ram for divine blessings, happiness and prosperity for Tripura.”
“I had earlier tried for the darshan of Ram Lalla, but due to the huge crowd I could not come. However, now I have finally come for the darshan of Ram Lalla. Before the darshan of Ram Lalla, I came here for the darshan of Lord Hanuman, and after this, I will go for the darshan of Ram Lalla. During my college days in Lucknow, I also tried to come, but as it is said, when the right time comes, everything happens. That’s why I Am here today (Thursday),” the Chief Minister said.
He said that he has prayed before Lord Hanuman and Ram Lala for the welfare of Tripura and the entire country.
He also greeted the people of Uttar Pradesh and invited them to visit the Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas worshiped by Hindus.
The Chief Minister said that he will also pray for the well-being of the people of Ayodhya there.
He said, “Diwali is a historic day, which marks the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya along with Mata Sita. Everyone knows this history, and on this occasion of Diwali, I would like to extend greetings and good wishes to everyone. I would also like to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the completion of the Ram temple; it was a big challenge and they have accomplished it.”
