His eldest son, Connor Bowls told Devonalive: “On Friday, June 13, our family lost our mother Belinda Taylor.
“She was a grandmother of four children, three adult boys and a teenage girl, and a grandmother for two young children.
“She was a selfless woman who wanted the best only for others and especially for her loved ones. She would be depth and leave a permanent impression on all of them that she has met in life.
“We want to ask for peace and privacy during this time as a family, while we mourn our loss and remember our mother as we should do.”
Emergency services were called in the area at around 1 pm after concerns for the welfare of two people, both Skydives confirmed the dead at the scene.
Robert Gibson, chief executive at British Skidoving, said in a statement: “Today, on Friday 13 June 2025, British Skidoving has been informed about a tragic accident in which two jumpers lost their lives.
“Our deep condolences go to their families, friends and the entire Skidoving community.
“A British Skidoving Board of Inquiry will investigate the accident.
“Once completed, a report – the board’s findings and any recommendations will be presented to the coroner, police, CaABritish Skidoving Safety and Training Committee (STC) and any other relevant officers.
“No more details will be provided at this time. We ask respectfully for confidentiality for all the people affected in this difficult time.”
