It’s time to shed light on this…
A huge, massive 100-watt spotlight.
Because Minneapolis has fallen and most people don’t even know what’s happening there.
let me show you…
Minneapolis has always been left leaning, maybe even far left leaning. Heck, Minnesota was the only state Ronald Reagan didn’t win in his second term, beating out 49 other states.
But although it always leaned toward the far-left, it was still American. It was still clearly part of the United States. Our American flag was still flying over it.
Not anymore.
Here’s Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh leading a campaign rally, waving the Somali flag (not the American flag) and speaking only in Somali.
This is disgusting and I have to ask if you are hoisting a different flag within our country, is it treason? Is this a clear act of war, a declaration that you do not associate yourself and your city with the ideas, laws, rules, regulations and shared values that make us one country?
See here:
Want to know what he was really saying?
Me too.
So I went ahead and transcribed it for us.
The first is the original Somali and below that is the translation in English, including time-stamps for everything:
0:03 – 0:06:
“As-salamu alaykum.”
(Peace be upon you – a standard Islamic greeting)0:06 – 0:08:
“Peace be upon you.”
(Peace be upon you – repeated for emphasis or response)0:09 – 0:13:
“Long live Somalia.”
(Long live Somalia – subtitle modified from ‘Somalia Diamond State’, which appears to be a phonetic misspelling of the common chant ‘Somalia ha Nulato’)0:13 – 0:15:
“Humisal.”
(My dear brothers/sisters or a term of endearment; can be a phonetic translation of “mavis le”, meaning “my relatives” or “people”)0:15 – 0:20:
“Early voting through Nov. 4.”
(Plain English; referring to the election timeline, possibly the 2025 Minneapolis mayoral election)0:20 – 0:22:
“I want your vote.”
(straight english)0:22 – 0:23:
“I love you.”
(I love you all – subtitle modified from ‘Wani Dibahanhai’, a phonetic approximation)0:23 – 0:26:
“I need you.”
(straight English; emphasizing dependence on audience)0:26 – 0:28:
(Inferred from context and gestures: additional Somali encouragement, possibly “I need your support” meaning “I need your support”)0:28 – 0:30:
“If we choose…Hello, we will win.”
(If you choose/vote for me… Hello, we’re going to win – the subtitles include the Somali “Haadan u Durano,” meaning “If we choose” or “If you vote,” combined with an English motivational closing)
We cannot let this continue.
Do you want to contest elections waving the Somali flag? Good. Great! Go do it in Somalia.
Get these people out of our country, they clearly don’t want to live here!
Tom Homan, send the army and capture these traitors!
And as always, I have to end with her face. Those eyes! Crazy eyes!
you know what I’m talking about?
Why do they all have crazy eyes?
