Train traffic hit as track flooded in Telangana’s Kamareddy district

Hyderabad, Aug 27 (IANS) Movement of trains between Hyderabad and Kamareddy in Telangana was disrupted on Wednesday as the flood water was overflowing the tracks at a couple of places following heavy rains.

The South Central Railway (SCR) cancelled, partially cancelled or diverted a few trains.

The flood water submerged the tracks on the Bhiknur–Talmadla section and Akanpet–Medak section of the Hyderabad Division.

The Nizamabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express (Train Number 12794), scheduled to depart on Wednesday, and Tirupati-Nizamabad Rayalaseema Express (12793), scheduled to leave on Thursday, have been cancelled.

H.S. Nanded-Visakhapatnam train (20812) has been cancelled between H.S. Nanded and Charlapalli, the SCR said.

Kacheguda-Karimnagar (77649) is partially cancelled between Bhiknur and Karimnagar. Kacheguda-Purna train (77605) is partially cancelled between Cavalry Barracks and Purna, and the Guntakal-Bodhan train (57411) is cancelled between Kacheguda and Bodhan.

Visakhapatnam–H.S. Nanded (20811), which departed on August 26, is partially cancelled between Akanpet and H.S. Nanded. H.S. Nanded–Medchal (77606) is cancelled between Kamareddy and Medchal, and the Kacheguda–Medak (57301) is also partially cancelled between Mirzapalli and Medak.

The Hyderabad-Jaipur train (12720) is diverted via Secunderabad, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Armoor, and Nizamabad, while the Tirupati- Adilabad Krishna Express (17405) is diverted via Warangal, Kazipet F Cabin, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Armoor, and Nizamabad.

Narkher–Kacheguda (17642) is diverted via Purna, Parli Vaijnath, Vikarabad, Secunderabad, and Kacheguda, and the Nagarsol-Kacheguda train (17662) will run through Purna, Parli Vaijnath, Vikarabad, Secunderabad, and Kacheguda.

The Narasapur-Nagarsol train (12787) is diverted via Warangal, Kazipet F Cabin, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad, the Nagarsol–Narasapur train (12788) is diverted via Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Kazipet F Cabin, and Warangal, and the Kacheguda-Manmad (17064) will run through Secunderabad, Vikarabad, Parli Vaijnath, and Parbhani.

Bhagat Ki Kothi-Kacheguda (17606) is diverted via Nizamabad, Armoor, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Kazipet Junction, Moula Ali, and Kacheguda, the Mumbai CSMT-Lingampalli (17057) diverted via Nizamabad, Armoor, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Kazipet Junction, and Secunderabad, and the Lingampalli–Mumbai CSMT (17058) diverted via Secunderabad, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Armoor, and Nizamabad.

Okha–Ramesaram (16734) is diverted via Nizamabad, Armoor, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Kazipet Junction, Moula Ali, and Kacheguda.
