“I’m really excited, I’m really happy,” Johnson said. “Crystal Palace is a great club that I have always admired.
“For me, the journey of coming here and joining this club has been a great time.”
palace manager Oliver Glasner Said: “I’m really pleased that Brennan has joined the club.
“He arrived very early in the transfer window so credit goes to the club for making it happen so quickly.
“Brennan will provide options for our attack with his pace and goal-scoring ability and will be a valuable addition to the team in all games to come.”
Johnson scored 18 goals last season and scored the winner in the Europa League final against Manchester United, ending Tottenham’s 17-year wait for a trophy.
However, Frank has largely been the backup to summer recruit Mohamed Kudus since he replaced Anj Postkoglu.
Johnson was absent from Tottenham Hotspur’s goalless draw with Brentford on New Year’s Day and announced his move to Crystal Palace less than 24 hours later.
The move would be a huge boost for Glasner, who said his tattered side were in “survival mode” after a 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Crystal Palace, a small side that competes in the Division One after winning last season’s FA Cup, have struggled with a tight schedule this season.
Their game against Fulham was their 31st of the season so far and Glasner said he had only 14 first-team players on the pitch.
Johnson’s arrival will bring some stardust to the south Londoners, with Palace’s first major investment since selling Eberechi Eze to Arsenal for £60m in August.
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “I’m delighted that Brennan has joined us – he is an exciting young talent with a strong recent record in domestic, continental and international football.
“We feel we are the perfect place for Brennan to continue his already impressive journey and his arrival enhances our attacking options in what is our busiest season to date, competing on many fronts, including playing in Europe for the first time.”
Tenth-placed Crystal Palace travel to Newcastle on Sunday eager to end a six-game winless run.
