The Toronto Police is searching for a woman in connection with the investigation of fraud.
Investigators say they received a report between May 2023 and May 2025 that a woman was offering fraud immigration services in Yonge Street and Aglinton Avenue sector.
It is alleged that suspected Canadian citizenship will provide immigration services for applications and work permits. The victims then paid to the accused and were provided with government documents, but later it would be known that the services were not valid, and the documents were considered fraud.
Police say 43 -year -old Maria of Toronto is wanted for Corpuz:
- Three calculations of fraud under $ 5,000
- Three calculations of false pretense under $ 5,000
- Two counts of full fake document
Investigators have released a picture of the suspect.
