Top police officers visit Tulamullah, review security arrangements for Mela Kheer Bhavani

Srinagar, May 31, KDC: In view of the forthcoming Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela, Inspector General of Police Kashmir VK Birdi, Deputy Inspector General Centor Central Central Kashmir Range (Dig CKR) Rajiv Omprakash Pandey, Dig CRPF North Sudhir Kumar Singh, Accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal, Co.115 BN. CRPF Sk Pradhan and SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh Today Visited The Revered Kheer Bhawani Temple, Tulmulla.

The purpose of the journey aimed at taking a comprehensive stock of security and logical arrangements for the upcoming festival, which is scheduled to be celebrated on June 3, June 2025. Mata Kheer Bhavani Mela is one of the most sacred and important festivals for Kashmiri Pandits, which observes thousands of more devotees.

During the journey, IGP Kashmir reviewed a detailed review of the security setup inside and around the temple complex. He also assessed traffic and mob management plans, which ensure smooth movement and convenient access to devotees. Special attention was paid to the availability of adequate parking places and essential facilities for pilgrims.

IGP Kashmir directed all senior district officials to maintain the highest level of vigilance, ensure strong access control measures, and provide all the necessary facilities to convenient a peaceful and spiritually full experience for devotees.

The authorities confirmed their commitment to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of Mata Kheer Bhavani Mela 2025 while maintaining the sanctity and tradition of this funded festival. (KDC)
