After carrying the title of ‘Harvest Moon’, the moon will grow at BST at around 6 am in the UK, before reaching the maximum perfection at 4.48 am on Tuesday.

In the Northern Hemisphere, taking its name from agricultural traditions, full moon lights were traditionally used by farmers during the crop season before the arrival of full moon light.
Supermoon word – first introduced in 1979 – describes any new or full moon that occurs when the moon is within about 90 percent of its nearest distance to the Earth, a point known as perigi.
During this time, the moon can appear 14 percent larger than the average full moon and up to 30 percent bright.
A visible effect known as the moon confusion may make it look even bigger because it grows or set.
Scientists believe that this is partly due to perspective – when the moon is seen near the horizon, the surrounding objects such as trees or buildings provide a frame of reference that tricks to consider the brain to consider abnormally large.
NASA noted in a blog post, “Photos prove that the moon horizon has the same width when it is high in the sky, but it’s not what we experience with our eyes,” NASA said in a blog post.
“Thus it is an illusion in the way our brain processes the visual information. Even though we have been watching it for thousands of years, still why we see it, there is still not a satisfactory scientific explanation for it.”
The best time to watch supermoon on Monday will be immediately after getting up around 7 pm.
The latest weather forecast of the UK Met office suggests that people living in the south and east will have the best chance to see it, the rest of the country’s clouds are included.
