Three Bollywood Films will be made in UK from next year Prime Minister He has revealed during its trade mission in India.

The studio, India’s leading film production and distribution company, will bring three major performances at the places of the United Kingdom from the beginning of 2026.
The announcement marked the end of an eight -year gap to build a studio studio in the UK. Downing Street Claiming the decision to return was influenced by the UK-India trade deal.
No 10 claimed that the new products can help produce 3,000 jobs in the UK and generate millions for the British economy.
Sir Kir said: “Bollywood is back to Britain and it is bringing all jobs, investment and opportunities, showing the UK as a world-class destination for global film-production.
“It is exactly the kind of partnership to unlock our business deal with India – increasing development, strengthening cultural relations and distributing it to communities across the country.”
The British Film Institutes, British Film Commission, Pinewood Studios, Apties Studios and Civic Studios were representatives of major British film industry bodies, including joining the Prime Minister on Yash Raj’s visit to Yash Raj.
Akshay Vidhani, Chief Executive Officer of Yash Raj Films, and chief Bollywood star Rani Mukherjee visited the studio facilities with Sir Kir.
The Prime Minister also sat behind an audio mixing desk, where he heard a song from the Soundtrack of the 1995 romance film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
Yash Raj Production, a favorite feature of a Hindi language, is also known by its early DDLJ, or will take the bride in the name of the English language called Bahadur-Dil.
It is said to be the longest -long -running film in the history of Indian cinema, as it has been shown continuously in Mumbai cinema since its release.
Sir Kir was then given a surprising introduction to the film’s composer Lalit Pandit, while Mr. Vidhani told the Prime Minister that his music has the power to make India’s film fans “ballistic”.
Mr. Vidhani said that Britain “holds a very special place in our hearts” because his studio was announced to return to Britain.
He said: “In the 30th anniversary of DDLJ, rule over the filming relations of YRF and UK is really special-a film which is synonymous with the UK-India relationship. Our company is currently producing DDLJ’s stage adaptation, English music title also has love (CFIL) in the UK.
“Therefore, we are thrilled to join hands with the UK again and return to filming in the country which has always been very kind for us.
“The UK’s infrastructure, technology and talent are unmatched, and we are happy to deepen our cultural relations with a country that has always empowered us to achieve creatively excellent.”
