To leave Journalism Association Al Salvador under government pressure

The Journalists Association of Al Salvador is carrying forward its legal position out of the country in response to a foreign agent law passed earlier this year, which was seen as a way to pressurize important voices Central American Nation.

Established in 1936, the association said on Wednesday that it would have to go to another country to defend the rights of journalists and the freedom of the press, which was not named. The association announced plans in September to close its offices.
