Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the formation of a new party called ‘American Party’ to ‘you (American citizens)’ on Saturday (local time) amid his quarrel with US President Donald Trump.
Announcing, Musk criticized the current political scenario of the US over the lack of options, saying that “we live in one-sided system, not democracy.”
It comes when Musk conducted a survey on the social media platform X, in which users were asked if they should start a party, out of which 65 percent agreed.
“From a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you will have it! When it comes to insolvency to our country with waste and graft, we live in one-party system, not democracy. Today, America’s party is formed to give you its freedom,” Musk has written on X.
Musk Musling for the party began after a massive recession between the “big beautiful bill” between the US President and his former advisor, which was heavily criticized by the former Dogi chief.
The ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ was passed by the US Congress on Thursday, signed by Trump on the fourth date of July, which held a signature ceremony outside the White House to mark its important legislative victory.
Since its departure from the White House, Musk has been an outspoken critic of Trump’s policy bill, especially about its approximate impact on the national deficit.
Musk has also announced his intention to support those who supported Republican supporting Trump’s law. He said that he would defend a notable rival representative of the bill Thomas Massey. Musk also asked for the creation of a new political party, criticizing the large -scale expenditure of the bill, Hill said.
Even though Musk has announced his party, the advisor of former Donald Trump has not yet pursued a concrete plan. (AI)
