Timothée Chalamet recently felt grateful after signing a lucrative deal with Warner Bros. Wonka and Dune: Part 2 Movie

In a statement shared via daily mail Chalamet, who is filming a Bob Dylan biopic, said on Tuesday: “These studio heads believe in true filmmaking, and I’m so grateful for their support as actors, producers and collaborators.”

“This partnership feels like a natural next step. Let’s go!” said the 28-year-old, who signed a multi-year first-look deal with the studio.

Warner Bros. co-chairmen and CEOs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy also praised Chalamet in a March 26 press statement.

“We are delighted that Timothée has chosen our studio as his creative home,” they said.

The statement also read: “Over the past few years, we have admired not only Timothée’s commitment to his craft (which is evident in the range and depth of the various roles he has played), but also his unwavering dedication to 100 % of his time and attention. Every project he produced at Warner Bros. and elsewhere.”

“His cooperation on the campaign dune and Wonka It’s something we all really enjoy and the results speak for themselves,” the executives added.

For those unfamiliar, a first-look deal will allow the actor to find projects he wants to be involved in, but Warner Bros. will get first dibs.
