Washington:

TikTok’s chief executive asked the app’s U.S. users to speak out after the House of Representatives passed a bill on Wednesday that would force the company to sever ties with its Chinese owners or face being banned from the United States.

“We believe we can overcome this problem together… protect your constitutional rights. Let your voice be heard,” Shou Zi Chew said in a video message posted on social media platform X.
