Three people are in a state of life after a suspected arson attack in a restaurant in the past. LondonThe police said.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the spot in Woodford Avenue, Gantts Hill In Ilford Around 9 o’clock on Friday.
The crew saved five people from the restaurant, while nine others were out already, London The fire brigade said.
Five people – three women and two men – who were injured in the incident, were treated at the scene by paramedics and were rushed to the hospital where they live.
Three out of five are in a state of life, Metropolitan Police Added.
No arrests have been made.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated by firefighters and mates.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers of Met’s Central Expert Crime North Unit said: “We understand that this incident will cause concern within the community. My team of expert detectives is working at a pace to connect the incident together.
“Local people can expect to see a large police presence in the area. If you have any concern, please talk to those officers on the ground.”
A London A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We sent the scene to resources, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an event response officer and paramedics from our dangerous area response team.
“We treated five people for Burns and smoking. We took two patients a major trauma center and three others to local hospitals.”
A London Fire Brigade The spokesperson said: “We were called to report a fire at a restaurant in Woodford Avenue at Gantts Hill at 9.02 am.
“A part of the ground floor restaurant was damaged by the fire. Firefighters rescued five people wearing breathing equipment. They were all rushed to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service. About nine more people were able to leave the restaurant before firefighters arrive.
“Brigade’s control officials received seven calls about the fire and gathered crews at the scene from Ilford, Henalt, Lenstone and Woodford fire stations. The fire was extinguished by 10.32 pm.
“The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
