Continuing its unbreakable drive against the danger of the drug, the police achieved success by arresting 3 drug pedals in Budgam and Sopore and recovered significant amounts from their possession.
A police spokesman said that the police post Soibug’s police team intercepted two suspects who tried to escape, but cleverly caught by the police team of Police Post Soebug at a checkpoint installed near Soibabh Diar Bridge. On searching, a substance like heroin was recovered from their possession. He has been identified as Abdul Rahman Khan’s Mohammad Imran Khan and Abdul Rashid Dar’s son Rashid Dar, both residents of Narakara, Budgam. Accordingly, a case video number 108/2025 of FIR number 108/2025 has been registered under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Budgam, and further investigation is going on.
Similarly, in Sopore, Police Station Dangiwacha caught the knotterial drug peddler Mohammad Iqbal Dar Lim, which you may be able to do so. 22/2025 under sections 8/22 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
Earlier investigation led to the seizure of 496 capsules of Spasmoproxivon Plus. Further investigation and continuous efforts resulted in some additional capsules recovery.
