In the early hours of Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 27), the suspects drove their Toyota pickup truck into an LA Fresh Cuts storefront and entered the building and stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
The group also grabbed the cage containing owner Joe Gomez’s $2,000 Savannah cat Simba and took him to a truck.
Sharing the footage, the shop said the thieves intended to “steal the cat”, adding: “We just want our cat Simba back. Material things come and go.”
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
