Mumbai, September 30 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday accused the Congress of trying to instill riots through “deliberate harassing” statements and described as social media posts.
After registering a complaint on a Congress social media post of Maharashtra BJP, an unknown person is accused of registration of an FIR by the Mumbai Police, which depicted the BJP office in the flames during the protest.
Speaking to IANS, BJP MLA Ram Kadam said that the opposition is harassing the peace and social harmony of the state.
He said, “Look at the statements made by the Congress party and the opposition at the same way as riots and arson took place in Nepal. The peaceful atmosphere and social harmony by the Congress leaders are deliberately upset,” he said.
Questioning the intention of the Congress post, he said, “Why do you show the images of our BJP office on their social media?
The FIR was filed by Maharashtra BJP’s social media cell coordinator Prakash Ged to allegedly try to incite violence under various sections of the Indian Joint Code at Marine Drive Police Station.
The controversial post by the Maharashtra Congress showed a BJP office set Ablass and linked it with demonstrations in Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Bihar. This referred to recent protests in Leh, where people are demanding state and inclusion under the Sixth Schedule.
The post announced, “BJP should not look at the end of the people. Otherwise, such as Jean Z set the BJP office in Leh, a similar situation would arise throughout the country.”
Reacting to the controversy, BJP’s national spokesperson Anid Nikam shared a copy of the FIR on X and said, “This is a direct warning in an attempt to disrupt the peace of this state …” BJP worker stands with Maharashtra “.
The political line comes under the backdrop of various protest movements across the country. Ladakh is watching a strong performance for the inclusion of the state and the sixth program, Uttarakhand has seen widespread unrest on paper leakage cases, and in Bihar, the Congress is gathering people through its voter Adhikar Yatra.
Against this background, BJP leaders claim that the Congress party is resorting to stimulating strategy, rather than standing for peace, which can ignite stress.
