Less than a year after concluding her record-breaking Erasure tour, Taylor Swift has unveiled her latest album, life of a showgirl, Now, they have released a six-part documentary series that tells the behind-the-scenes story of the global tour along with a three-hour concert film.
The documentary traces the planning, rehearsals and production of the Erasure Tour, which grossed over $2 billion and set a new record for the number of stadium shows by a female artist. The series concludes with a full, feature-length recording of the final performance.
While Swifty viewing parties have enjoyed the first two episodes, Swift herself took to X to announce new release dates for the final episodes.

Speaking at a small screening in New York ahead of the release, Swift said the project reflected years of work, adding: “Everything that went into it was all the lessons we’ve learned throughout our lives,” before expressing her gratitude to the dancers, musicians and technical teams who brought the tour to life.
Swift announced the project on Instagram, calling the tour a defining moment. He wrote, “It was the end of an era and we knew it.” “We wanted to capture every second leading up to the conclusion of the most intense and meaningful chapter of our lives, so we invited filmmakers to document the tour and the stories threaded through it as it came to a close – including the final show.”
This is not Swift’s first cinematic performance on the Eras tour. In 2023, The Eras Tour (Taylor’s version) Following its global cinema release it became the highest-grossing concert film of all time.

Where to watch ‘The End of an Era’
The six-part documentary premiered on December 12 with the first two episodes on Disney+. Episodes three and four are released today (December 19), while the final two episodes will be released on December 23, three days earlier than the original planned date of December 26. For UK viewers, everyone arrives at 8am.
