Thailand’s royal family celebrated the coronation day with a three-day celebration that included religious ceremonies and an army parade, Nation Thailand informed of.
Thailand’s King and Queen marked the fifth anniversary of Maha Vajiralongkorn, who has been in power since 2016.
Coronation Day, which fell on a Saturday and was also the last day of the three-day festivities, was celebrated with celebration throughout the county.
The coronation ceremony, which took place in the Grand Palace, began with the king paying homage to the Buddha images. He also expressed his respect towards the Supreme Patriarch by serving him food.
After this, other members of the royal family, councilors and senior government officials served food to the 19 monks.

King Vajiralongkorn is the 10th king of Thailand from the Chakri Dynasty. His coronation ceremony was held from 4–6 May.

On 4 May, the Thai Armed Forces fired a 21-gun salute to mark the beginning of the three-day celebrations.
