Trump is set to host Zelanski in Washington on Monday with European leaders and NATO general secretary Mark Rutte.
A member of the Trump administration told CNN that Putin had agreed and could give European ally Ukraine as part of a deal to end the war.
Steve Witcoff, who attended a dialogue at a military base in Alaska on Friday, called it a “game-changing” concession by Russians.
He did not give many details about how such a system would work.

Speaking at Brussels with European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leyen, Zelancesi, he appreciated the news from the White House.
