Officials said a woman from Hazratbal Srinagar died on Monday after unwavering in Hazratbal area of Srinagar.
An official who confirmed the incident said that a woman kept herself in a room in a room in the first floor of the three -storey building in the Hazratbal area of Srinagar city.
He said that the fire call was reported at around 11:42 pm. Fire and Emergency Department officials rushed to the spot and took the woman out and transferred her to the hospital with a serious burnt injury.
Meanwhile, the woman later died in the hospital, while the police started an investigation in this regard.
An official also said that the cause of death is being ascertained- (KNO)
