Police said Kolkata, 22 September (IANS) A young woman died on Monday after falling from a luxury tall building in Kolkata.
The police have recovered the woman’s body and sent her for the autopsy.
The police have initiated an investigation to find out whether it was a case of suicide or was motivated by another person to death.
According to police, the woman has been identified as 29 -year -old Garima Lodh.
She lived on the 25th floor of a magnificent tall building on the canal South Road.
On Monday morning, security guards made a loud noise.
They reached the spot and saw that the girl was lying on the ground.
The entire area was covered in the blood.
Security guards called the local police, who reached the spot, and recovered the body.
Garima lived with her family in the house.
Sources said that he had dinner with his family on Sunday night.
She fell from her flat window on Monday morning
According to the police, half-a-wine bottles and some items were recovered from the girl’s room.
After seeing this, the police initially assumed that the girl had jumped from her room.
A senior Kolkata police officer said, “It appears that she died of suicide. However, we are searching for all angles. We are waiting for the post -mortem report to find out if a foul play was included.”
A case of unnatural death has been registered at Tangra police station.
The police is also investigating the CCTV footage of the residential tower, to find out if someone has entered the woman’s flat.
Sources said that monitoring in residential towers has increased and security has been tightened.
