American federal mortgage giant Fanny Mai has closed around 700 employees including Telugu workers in two days. Around 200, most of them were fired on the “moral basis”, Telugu, The Times of India Reported citing sources.
According to Termination English Daily, the plan designed to support charitable donations is associated with irregularities and misuse of the company’s “matching grant program”.
Some employees were allegedly worked with hand with non-profit organizations, such as the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), and the company’s funds were misused.
