According to news agency PTI, three fire tenders were dispatched immediately after Delhi Fire Services received a call at 9:19 am stating that an explosion-like sound was heard near the hotel.
Officers conducted an extensive investigation in the area and nothing suspicious was found near the area.
According to PTI, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Amit Goyal said, “The caller was contacted and he informed that when he was going to Gurugram, a loud noise was heard. We checked everything and found nothing.”
He further said that a local guard informed that a tire of a DTC bus towards Dhaula Kuan had burst.
DCP Goyal said, “During local enquiry, a guard informed that the rear tire of the DTC bus going towards Dhaula Kuan had burst and the sound came from the same.”
The officer further asked to remain calm and told that the situation is normal.
