king charles and the queen camilla Waved to the crowd outside St Mary Magdalene Church sandringham property as they led royal family For their annual Christmas morning church service.

Charles and Camilla led the family on the walk from Sandringham House to the church for the service, which began at 11am.

The Royal Family was welcomed on the church steps by the Rev Canon Dr Paul Williams.

Camilla and the Princess Royal both chose bright red coats for themselves xmas day While stepping out, Camila chose black gloves with fur embellishments.

King Charles, wearing a camel-coloured overcoat, waved to members of the public standing on the walkway.

The family did not stop to talk to those gathered, as they do after the church service ends.

St Mary Magdalene, in its present form, dates back to the 16th century and is used by the royal family when they reside at Sandringham. The church has also been used as a venue for celebrations, such as for the christening of Princess Charlotte.

King Edward VII started the tradition of celebrating Christmas at the Sandringham estate.
