Bhopal, 24 September (IANS) Bhopal Police IG Intelligence Dr. Two of the three suspects involved in the robbery case related to Ashish have been arrested, whose mobile phone was snatched into four tamarind late on Tuesday-the safest and one of the high-profile areas of the capital of the state.
According to Habibgnj AC Umesh Tiwari, Dr. Ashish was walking after dinner in four tamarind areas, when three bike-borne attackers snatched and snatched both their mobile phones.
“As soon as the incident was reported till late night, teams from Crime Branch, Cyber Branch and local police stations were immediately deployed. A continuous search operation is going on to identify and catch the unknown accused,” Tiwari said.
At the time of the incident, Dr. Ashish was catching one phone and speaking on the other. Police said the criminals rapidly caught both the equipment and fled towards the nearby solitude park.
The robbery has sent shockwaves through the police department.
As IG Intelligence, Dr. Ashish is responsible for handling sensitive law and order across Madhya Pradesh. Sources said one of the stolen phones included confidential crime data, including communication from district superintendents and special branch officials.
He indicated that it can also be strategic plans for future operations, increasing potential data leaks and serious concerns about disruption of law enforcement activities.
After the incident, senior officials reached the spot. Bhopal Crime Branch, with teams from six police stations, began an overnight search operation.
The CCTV footage captured the escape suspects, who helped the police identify and detain six persons for questioning. Two of the primary suspects have been arrested, while the third lives on a large scale.
During the search, one of the stolen phones from Durga Nagar in the Election Police Station area was recovered.
Police sources said that the second phone is the most important intelligence, which is still missing.
The robbery has criticized the preparations of the Bhopal police, especially given the location of crime.
Four tamarind include several top state officials, including the Director General of Police, a Deputy Chief Minister, more than a dozen cabinet ministers and senior bureaucrats.
Breach has raised serious questions about the effectiveness of the security protocol in the VIP sector. The police continued their search for the third suspect and missing mobile phones, as the pressure increases the pressure to resolve rapidly and protect sensitive information at stake.
