The rate of obesity increased, but what else happened to our body during Kovid -19 epidemic?

A study by a McMaster University, a McMaster University published in the Journal of Canadian Medical Association, found that the obesity rate rose rapidly during the Kovid -19 epidemic, as they were done before April 2020.

Young women aged 18–29 experienced the fastest growth of nine percent from the epidemic, at six percent compared to men of that age. Cross-sectional, multi-day study used the body mass index (BMI) scale to measure obesity, while also accepted the boundaries and anomalies of the scale.

But beyond the numbers, what happened to the body of young women during a really worldwide epidemic, and what BMI scales show not show how our bodies changed in limited health resources and complete separation time.

Host Maria Casten spoke to Abhay Sharp, registered dietist and hosts bite back What is the podcast, discussion on the findings of the study and the number shown on the scale.
