The Rajya Sabha was postponed for the day; To discuss Operation Sindor tomorrow

Amid the opposition MPs raising opposition slogans, the Rajya Sabha was postponed for the day and will meet again at 11 am on Tuesday to discuss Operation Sindoor.

The upper house proceedings began at 2 pm after twice, again to follow the same course again, as the opposition raised slogans against the special intensive amendment (SIR) of the electoral rolls in the pole-bound Bihar.

The house will be resurrected on Tuesday for 16 hours discussion on Operation Sindoor. According to sources, Rajnath Singh and S Jaishankar will be among the ministers who will participate in the discussion in the Rajya Sabha. PM Modi is also expected to intervene in the discussion.

The largest opposition party, Congress has been allotted an estimated time of two hours in the discussion. Party President Mallikrajun Kharge will open a debate for him.

Meanwhile, the discussion on Operation Sindoor has finally started in the Lok Sabha after being postponed three times a day.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh opened the discussion, which was launched by the Indian Armed Forces as “historic” by the Indian Armed Forces, Singh paid tribute to the soldiers who are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the nation.

Singh said in his address to the Lok Sabha, “Parliament is ready to discuss Operation Sindoor. First, I would like to expand my gratitude from Parliament, whenever needed, he has sacrificed for the country.”

He insisted that India’s policy was “decisive and effective demonstration” against Sindoor terrorism.

“On May 6 and 7, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, which remains historic. It also reflected India’s sovereignty, its identity and our commitment to the citizens of the country,” said Rajnath Singh.

Along with Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, BJP Vice President Bajyant Panda will also speak in the Lok Sabha.

In the Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, Deputy Leader of Congress, will lead the discussion of the opposition. He will receive assistance by other Congress MPs, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Deepnder Hooda, Praneet Shinde, Saptagiri Ulka and Bijendra Ola.

The Lok Sabha has also been designed to discuss Operation Sindoor, participating in the top leaders and part of the ruling coalition. Next to the 16-hour long discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has appealed to the opposition not to speak the language of Pakistan.
