The person accused of killing serial killer Robert Pictton in jail on Thursday appeared at a video conference at the Courthouse at Capt-Ols, Q in North-East of Quebec City.
The 52-year-old Martin Charrest, in May 2024 at the Port-Cartier Federal Pentettery, face a counting murder in connection with the killing of a pickton.
Before dominating the face of Picon, Charstas allegedly took over a broom, who died in a hospital due to injuries at the age of 74.
Quebec Court Judge Vicky Lapiere ordered the case to return to court on 2 September.
One of the most notorious serial killers in Canada, Picon was convicted in six cases of second degree murder in 2007.
But he confessed to killing a total of 49 women, whom he wooed in his pig farm near Vancouver.
