The person goes overboard on UK Ferry with major search operation

A person has fallen from a boat in a clide’s forth.

A discovery is going on after the incident between Dunoon and Gaurok on Sunday afternoon.

One Hm coastguard The helicopter was sent with one RNLI Lifeboat.

Calmac said that its MV Ali Cat vessel is also helping search.

It is believed that the person fell from a Western Ghat ship.

A spokesperson of HM Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard is responding to a person’s report between Quay and Gurok region of Hunter in Scotland.

“An HM Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopter has been tasked to make a discovery with Coastguard rescue teams from Largs and Dong, in addition to HM and Larsbots.

“Nearby ships have been called for assistance. Police Scotland And Scottish ambulance service Also in appearance.

“The situation continues.”
