Officials said a nomadic woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the Nishat area of Srinagar after allegedly attacked on Sunday.
A senior police officer told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the woman originally and currently living in Nisha was allegedly attacked by some persons near Water Works Road.
He was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and arrested all four involved persons.
