The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today paid a bright tribute to the brave martyrs of July 13, 1931, which is at a serious ceremony held at Jammu-e-Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu.

The program was chaired by Ratan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu and Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary, Ajay Sadhotra, Additional General Secretary JKNC and former Minister, Babu Rampul former minister and Central Zone President and Chairman of Central Zone and Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Divisional Jammu and a large number of party workers saw the participation and recalled the Justice.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary said that July 13 is an important moment in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, which symbolizes the collective yearning of people for democracy, social justice and equality. “The 1931 martyrs were not fighting against any religion or community. They were demanding their fundamental rights and dignity,” he said.

Ratan Lal Gupta said in his address that 1931 was a turn for Sheikh Abdullah in his political history.
