Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister of Water Power, Forest, Ecology and Environment and Tribal Affairs, today said that early redressal of public grievances is one of the top priorities of the government led by Omar Abdullah.
He said that the government has taken measures to ensure timely solutions to the problems faced by the people.
The minister said during his conversation with public delegations including MLAs at Civil Secretariat Srinagar, “Public welfare issues raised by the MLA will be given top priority with the authorities, which completes their work with severity and sensitivity, ensuring rapid and satisfactory solutions.”
The legislators raised various issues of public importance related to their constituencies and demanded the intervention of the minister in this regard. He raised various complaints related to forest issues, water supply, electricity, health care facilities, tribal welfare and other constituencies.
The minister assured all the delegations that their concerns would be taken along with the concerned departments for appropriate action.
