The Ministry of Health instructs states/UT between Kovid -19 spikes to ensure oxygen, separation beds, ventilator

State and District Monitoring Units under IDSP are closely monitoring diseases (ILI) and severe acute respiratory disease (SARI). According to the guidelines, testing is recommended for all accepted saree cases and 5% of ILI cases. Positive sarees samples are sent to the entire genome sequencing through the ICMR VRDL network.

The public is advised to practice hand hygiene, cough etiquette, and avoid crowded places when unwell. Individuals with acute respiratory disease should be self-interacted and seek medical care if the symptoms deteriorate. Reliable sources such as Mohfw’s website and PIB release should be followed to avoid misinformation and rumors.
